The RIO MAR Hotel opened in 1975 and has undergone refurbishment several times, the last of which was in 2005.

It is a small and charming hotel located in the heart of Peñiscola, just opposite the northern beach, and only 400 metres from the old quarter (from the castle) and next to the Convention Centre.

Its most alluring feature is its proximity to the sea in one of the most attractive towns on the Castellon coast, not only because of its beaches, but also because of its picturesque old quarter.
